Year 7 Kepplewray 2019

60 children drawn from 5 secondary school across Furness enjoyed a day of outdoor activities at The Kepplewray Centre in Broughton during May half-term.

The children enjoyed canoeing on Coniston Water, archery, crate-stacking and bush crafting whilst also making new friendships.

The trip supports the work of the Kickstart programme that is delivered in after-school and targets improvement with transferable skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork, confidence and emotional resilience.

The programme concludes with a celebration evening on July 5th 2019 where the children will be acknowledged for their hard work.
